AGM 2015/16

AGM 2015/16

Tonight at EDRS 3rd Edgware Scout Group got together to celebrate the end of the year and have our first AGM in over 10 years. It was an extremely special night for all involved, with many highlights. Although we said goodbye to some people (some Scouts moving to Explorers and an assistant Scout Leader) there were tonnes of lovely moments that really summed up our year as a Scout group.

We started off the evening with the formal parts of the AGM, hearing from our new Parents Committee about thing the Cubs and Scouts don’t really care about! But, we swiftly moved on and watched a video full of pictures and videos of all the goings on this year – you can watch it above. Onto the section leaders reports about what the Cubs and Scouts have been doing over the year… I can’t list it all here or you’d be reading for hours!

The formal part of the AGM finished, we cracked on with some Parents VS Cubs & Scouts challenges… The parents actually did better than we expected! Some “great” tripods were built and we held a “Real or No Real” quiz where the Parents and children had to decide whether the answer was Real, or not real!

We hope all the Cubs and Scouts have had a great year, and have a lovely Summer holiday. See you next year!
